Warning – dog thieves

Unconfirmed reports suggest that dog thieves are again active in Kolkata. No municipality collects dogs from the streets after normal daytime working hours. Please stay vigilante. Spread the word among local people and street vendors. If you see anyone picking up a street dog, ask them what they’re doing and who they’re working for. If possible, take photos of them and their vehicle – including the number plate. Post the pictures on KSD and elsewhere.
Pariah Dog – The Movie

Jesse Alk continues filming for this much-awaited film about street dogs in Kolkata. He’s hoping it will be ready for release in 2018.
